Sheds on a base that lasts.
We supply and build garden sheds on a solid, level base that keeps the floor dry — not dumped on a couple of slabs. Get the base right and the shed stands square, shuts properly, and doesn't rot from the floor up.
What we do
The base is the bit that matters.
A shed is only as good as what it sits on. Set it on uneven ground or a couple of loose slabs and the doors bind, the floor sits in the wet, and the whole thing racks out of square. We build the base first, level and solid, then put the shed up on top.
We'll help you place it so the doors, paths and access all work, clear the spot if it needs it, and take the old shed away. It's surveyed and priced before we start.
- Level, solid base — timber-framed, slab or paved, built to suit.
- Floor kept up off the wet so it doesn't rot from underneath.
- Placed for access — doors, paths and clearance all thought through.
- Old shed & waste removed — the spot left clean and tidy.
Your options
What you can have.
A shed to suit the space and the storage, on the base that fits the ground — we'll talk you through the roof style and the base type at the survey.
- Apex roofThe classic ridged roof — more headroom down the centre and good for taller storage like ladders and long-handled tools.
- Pent roofA single sloping roof that tucks neatly against a fence or wall — ideal for tighter spots and side returns.
- Timber-framed baseA bearer-and-joist frame that lifts the floor clear of the ground — quick, level, and keeps damp out.
- Slab or paved baseA firm, level pad for heavier sheds or where you want a hard standing that lasts — laid properly, not just dropped down.
Pricing
Priced per job at your free survey — fixed, in writing.
Shed prices depend on the size, the base and the ground, so we don't quote blind. We see it, measure it, and confirm one fixed price you can hold us to — no creep once we start.
Straight answers
Good to know about sheds.
Do I need a base, or can it just go on the ground?
You need a base. Straight on soil or grass, the floor draws damp and the shed rots and racks out of square within a couple of years. A level base — timber-framed, slab or paved — keeps the floor dry and the doors shutting properly. It's the part that decides how long the shed lasts.
Can you take my old shed away?
Yes — we'll clear and remove the old shed and any waste as part of the job, and leave the spot clean and ready. Just let us know at the survey so we can price it in.
Do you supply the shed or do I buy it?
Either works. We can supply and build, or build a shed you've bought — whatever suits. Tell us the size and where you want it and we'll sort the base and the build to match.
