Most decks that fail didn't fail at the boards — they failed underneath. We set the posts and bearers properly, get it dead level, and give the timber room to breathe so it lasts.
We build for the way you actually use the garden — a spot for the table, a run out from the back doors, or a raised platform that squares off an awkward slope. It's surveyed and priced before we start.

Decking prices depend on the board, the size and the ground, so we don't quote blind. We see it, measure it, and confirm one fixed price you can hold us to — no creep once we start.

Timber or composite — which should I go for?
Timber is warmer to look at and cheaper up front, but wants an occasional clean and re-oil. Composite costs more to buy but is close to maintenance-free and holds its colour for years. We'll weigh it up against your budget and how much upkeep you want at the survey.
Can you deck over a slope or an uneven garden?
Yes — that's often the best use of a deck. We build a level frame up off the ground on proper footings, so you get a flat, usable platform where the garden itself falls away. We'll flag anything about levels or access at the survey.
Will it be solid, or will it bounce?
Solid. Bounce comes from joists spanned too far or a frame that isn't braced. We set the frame to the board manufacturer's spacing and brace it properly, so it feels firm underfoot from day one — and it's backed by our 12-month workmanship guarantee.
